Ryan + Angie were married on a particularly warm (for New England) afternoon in early October. It poured the entire ride from Boston up to New Hampshire and I was fully equipped with rain boots, jackets, and covers for all my equipment. But as soon as I arrived at the venue, the skies cleared and it was a lovely afternoon. I was with Ryan and his groomsmen before the wedding ceremony - Ryan was a bit nervous but they decided to take a cruise around the lake on their family friend's boat while waiting for the first look and that seemed to ease the nerves (and yes, I did accompany them on the boat!). The wedding ceremony was held on the shore of the lake and the reception was in a tent overlooking the lake. The wedding was a perfect mix of elegant and rustic. I second shot this wedding for Ashley, who I also shot Jonathan + Brieanne's wedding and know through t.e.l.l. New England. Here are a few of my favorites.
I had the pleasure of second shooting Rikki & Thao's wedding with Hillary back in July. Emily did our wedding photography back in May 2016, so I was very excited to have the opportunity to second shoot for her. Rikki & Thao got married at Hyland Orchard in Sturbridge, MA overlooking the orchard and surrounded by their friends and family (and puppies - it was a dog friendly wedding!). The wedding was beautiful (the event design by Kelly Golia Events), so I have quite a few images to share.
Hello again! I have been quite behind on editing, so am quite behind on sharing some work I have done this summer. I did a handful of weddings this summer and look forward to sharing more! I second shot this wedding back in June (!) with Sharon Watkins Photography at the Bedford Village Inn in New Hampshire. Eric + Kate, and their twin boys, had the perfect summer afternoon for an outdoor ceremony. Here are some snaps from the day.
Instead of setting resolutions for myself I am setting intentions. Resolutions implies finding a solution to a problem while intentions gives me more of an aim or a purpose, which to me seems more positive and attainable. Anyway, one of my intentions for the year is to stop ignoring my camera so much. Sure it's easier to just take my phone with me as a camera, but at the end of the year I'm left with kind of random snapshots instead of a collection of shot and edited photos.
So, I've began the process of cleaning out and editing photos from the last year that I've barely touched since taking them.
These photos are from the end of September when I was the second shooter for a wedding in Vermont with Ashley Herrin. I met Ashley via t.e.l.l. New England and it was very cool to finally meet in person and work together to capture such a lovely day.
Jonathan + Brieanne were married in Waitsfield, VT at the 1824 House and honestly, the day was picture perfect. They had beautiful weather, the small & intimate venue was gorgeous, and you could truly feel the love that surrounded them from their families and friends. Here's a peak at some of my photos - for a more in depth look at the day check out Ashley's post.
This past week Dean and I had the pleasure of shooting Will and Ashley's wedding. I met Will and Ashley through Gabi, my former coworker and the maid of honor. They had the perfect day for weather, a beautiful lakeside location in New Hampshire, and they were surrounded by loving family and friends. Here is a sneak peek:
Congrats Will & Ashley!
