I grew up in a small town in Connecticut, spent my college years and 20s in Boston, moved to New York City with Dean, my husband, and Quincy, our tabby cat, and now have found my way back to New England. I worked for eight years in program and event planning before going full-time with my photography business in 2021. I’m grateful for those eight years because they taught me so much that I’ve carried into managing my own small business (hello, managing 1,000+ person events!). Beyond photography, I am an avid reader, love long bike rides, prefer the Monday crosswords to the Sunday ones, enjoy woodsy day hikes, and am always finding the nearest bookstore when traveling.

I love to document those FLEETING MOMENTS that, as a whole,

Meet Michelle

make up our lives.

Day hikes along the coastline
Ice cream, year round
Comforting bowls of pasta
Exploring new cities, on foot

Getting lost in a good book
Long, leisurely bike rides
Matinees at the movie theater
Newport Folk Festival in the summer

things that make my heart happy

That day will forever be one of my favorites; all of the important people in our lives under one roof celebrating with us. I grew up in a large family and have many memories of big family dinners - birthdays, holidays, cookouts. I love looking back through boxes and boxes of those photos and seeing those fleeting moments captured, those moments that make up our lives. I’m a natural observer - which is why I’m drawn to the camera. To me, there is nothing better than being able to flip through photos and relive a moment, a memory, or a feeling. Your wedding day will undoubtedly go by in the blink of an eye (mine did!), and I love being able to capture those big — and small — moments forever for you.

Our wedding photograph by Emily Tebbetts

My husband and I tied the knot on an unseasonably warm day in May at the barn where my mom and stepdad were married twenty years earlier.
